Information note by lanieri.com on the use of cookies

Under the national and supranational legislation in force regarding the protection of personal data, this document intends to clarify to the interested user the use of cookies by lanieri.com (hereinafter the Website) as prepared by Reda Industries S.r.l. (hereinafter the Company).

1.- Data Controller and contacts

The Data Controller of your personal data is the company Reda Industries S.r.l., with registered office in Via Robiolio 25, 13835 Valdilana (BI) – ITALY, Tax ID code and VAT number IT01686900026.
The Data Controller can be contacted at the postal address indicated above or at the following email address: customercare@lanieri.com

2.- What are cookies and what are they used for?

Cookies are small text strings that the websites visited by the user send to his/her terminal (usually to the browser), where they are stored before being re-transmitted to the same websites on the next visit by the same user. While browsing a Website, the user may also receive cookies on his/her terminal that are sent from different websites or web servers (so-called “third parties”), on which some elements may reside (such as, for example, images, maps, sounds, specific links to pages of other domains) that are present on the Website that the user is visiting.
Cookies are used for various purposes: performing computer authentication, monitoring sessions, storing information on specific configurations regarding users who access the server, storing preferences, or to facilitate the use of online content, such as for example to keep track of the items in a shopping cart or of information for filling out an IT form, etc.; but they can also be used to profile the user, that is, to "note" their behaviour, for example in order to send targeted advertising, measure the effectiveness of the advertising message and adopt consequent commercial strategies. In this case we speak of profiling cookies.

3.- Types of cookies used by the Website www.lanieri.com. Purpose and legal basis.

Necessity of providing data and consequences.

3.1.- Anonymised technical and analytical cookies that do not require the User's consent.

The category of technical cookies includes the cookies listed below, which pursue the purposes respectively indicated:
navigation or session cookies, which are used to ensure normal navigation and use of the services of the Website (for example, to make a purchase or for authentication to access reserved areas);
functionality cookies, which allow the user to browse according to a series of selected criteria (for example, the language, the products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service provided to the same.
Legal Basis. As regards navigation or functionality cookies, the legal basis lies in the provision of a service or a contract or of pre-contractual measures (art. 6.b of EU Regulation no. 2016/679) as they are necessary to ensure the Website and the service requested by users can be used. The use of these cookies does not require your consent.
Anonymised analytics cookies are cookies used to collect information, in aggregate form and therefore not attributable to the individual user, relating to the number of users, the most visited pages, the location from which the connection is made, etc. to process statistics on the service and use of the Website. These cookies can also be third-party cookies. In this case, however, the Data Controller must have made them anonymous (e.g. by anonymising the IP or masking part of it) and must not allow the third party to cross-reference the information collected through the Website with other information it already has available.
Legal basis. As regards anonymised analytics cookies, the legal basis lies in the legitimate interest of the Data Controller to constantly improve the Website and the service required by users (art. 6.f of EU Regulation no. 2016/679). The user has the right to object to the use of such cookies if he or she believes that his or her interests or fundamental rights and freedoms prevail over the legitimate interests of the Data Controller. The Data Controller will refrain from further use of such cookies unless it demonstrates the existence of compelling legitimate reasons that prevail over the user’s right to object or in order to establish or defend a right in court (art. 21 of EU Regulation no. 2016/679). To exercise his/her right of opposition, the user can contact the Data Controller at the contact details indicated above.
Necessity of providing data and consequences. The provision of data collected through the cookies described above is not mandatory; however, it is necessary for connecting to the Website and for providing the service. Should such a provision be partially or totally absent, the website cannot be used or there may be problems using it. The list of technical cookies used by the Website with the related characteristics (e.g. characteristics, data retention times, etc.) is available in the specific area that can be accessed from the banner or is shown at the bottom.

3.2.- Profiling cookies that require the User's consent

Profiling cookies can be:

First-party: installed directly by the Data Controller on its own website.
Third-party: installed on the Data Controller's website by a third party. The Data Controller has no control over third-party cookies, neither over the activity and purpose of the third party, nor over the possibility that the third party may modify them over time. In this respect, the Data Controller acts as an intermediary. In this capacity, you should refer to the third party's information note, accessible via the link next to each of the cookies indicated in the specific area that can be accessed from the banner or is shown at the bottom. Profiling cookies allow the user's behaviour to be followed and tracked, through automated tools, during Internet browsing. They are intended to create profiles relating to the user and are used by the Data Controller or the third party in order to send the user customised advertising content in line with their preferences and interests, expressed in the context of their Internet browsing. Profiling cookies also include non-anonymised analytics cookies used by third parties, when the Data Controller has not made them anonymous (e.g., has not anonymised the IP) or when it allows the third party to cross-reference the information collected with other information it already has.
Legal Basis. The use of Profiling cookies (including non-anonymised analytics) can only take place with the user's consent, which constitutes the legal basis for processing the data collected through such cookies, in accordance with the provisions of art. 6.a of EU Regulation no. 2016/679. Consent can be provided or revoked at any time by acting directly in the specific area that can be accessed from the banner or is shown at the bottom.
Necessity of providing data and consequences. Failure to provide data as a result of your lack of consent for these cookies has no consequences for the purposes of browsing the Website and its use, but it makes it impossible to offer advertising messages on services and goods in line with the preferences and actual interests expressed by the user when browsing the web.

4.- Management of consents

The user can manage his/her consent relating to the individual categories of cookies by operating directly in the specific area that can be accessed from the Customise banner or is shown at the bottom.

 5.- How to disable cookies by configuring the browser

The user can manage his/her preferences directly within his/her browser, in the dedicated section, and prevent, for example, third parties from installing cookies or deleting cookies installed in the past. After this operation, however, some functions of the web pages may not operate correctly. To do this, you can follow the specific instructions for the browser used:

With reference to cookies installed by third parties, you can also handle your settings and revoke consent by visiting the relevant opt-out link (if available), using the tools described in the third party's privacy policy or by contacting the third party directly.

6.- Processing methods

Processing is carried out both with computer tools, including automated ones, adopting the appropriate security measures, aimed at ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of the data, preventing illicit use or loss of data, as well as unauthorised access.

7.- Transfer of data outside the EU

Your personal data will not be transferred abroad to countries other than those belonging to the European Union, which do not ensure adequate levels of protection for individuals. Should this be necessary to provide the requested services (for example for some processing activities that could be delegated externally to suppliers not belonging to the European Union), we assure you that the transfer of personal data to countries that do not belong to the European Union and that do not ensure adequate levels of protection will be carried out only after Reda Industries S.r.l. and said subjects have stipulated specific contracts containing safeguard clauses and appropriate guarantees for the protection of personal data (e.g. standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission) or only in the presence of another requirement which complies with the applicable Italian and European legislation.

8.- Storage of personal data collected using cookies

The retention period of data collected using cookies is indicated in the lists of cookies used by the Website available in the specific area shown at the bottom.

9.- Communication and dissemination of personal data

The data collected through cookies may be known and used by authorised employees/collaborators of Reda Industries S.r.l. or of the Reda Group, such as those responsible for the maintenance and management of the Website, for marketing and administration.
They may also be used by any third parties (providers of services and IT infrastructure involved in the management and supervision of the Website and similar) who operate on behalf of the Data Controller and have been duly appointed as data processors in accordance with art. 28 of EU Regulation no. 2016/679. With the user's consent, they may also be used by third parties who install their cookies on the Data Controller's website.

10.- Rights of the data subject

The current legislation on the protection of personal data recognises your right to access, rectify, transfer and delete your data. The user also has the right to object and the right to limit the processing of his/her data.
Specifically, users have the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of personal data concerning them at any time and to their communication in an intelligible form.

Data subjects have the right to obtain information regarding:
1.    the content and origin of the personal data;
2.the processing purposes and methods;
3.the logic applied to the processing carried out with the aid of electronic instruments;
4.the identification details of the controller and the processors;
5.the duration of retention in relation to the specific categories of data processed;
6.the individuals or categories of individuals to whom the personal data may be communicated or who may become aware of these, in their capacity as processors or appointees.

Data subjects also have the right to obtain:
1.    the update, rectification or, when they have an interest, the integration of the data;
2.the cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or limitation of the data processed (e.g. if processed in violation of the law), including those whose retention is not necessary in relation to the purposes for which the data were collected or subsequently processed;
3.the portability of the data to another controller;
4.to object to the processing (e.g. for sending advertising or direct marketing material or for carrying out market research or commercial communication);
5.to object to any automated decision-making process (including profiling);
6.the revocation of any consent given, where applicable (we specify that the revocation of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given before the revocation);
7.the guarantee that the operations referred to in the previous points have been brought to the attention, including as concerns their content, of those to whom the data have been communicated or disseminated, except in the case in which such fulfilment proves impossible or involves the use of means manifestly disproportionate to the right protected.

The data subject who believes that the personal data relating to him/her is processed in violation of the provisions of the applicable legislation also has the right to lodge a complaint with the Guarantor (in Italy: Italian Data Protection Authority), as provided for by art. 77 of EU Regulation 2016/679, or to take appropriate legal action (art. 79 EU Regulation 2016/679).
These rights may be exercised by the data subject with a request addressed without formalities to the Data Controller to which an appropriate response is provided without delay.

The request addressed to the Data Controller or the person responsible may also be sent by registered letter or email to the following addresses:
1.    address: Reda Industries S.r.l., Via Robiolio 25, 13835 Valdilana (BI)
