The tailor-made suit as an expression of personal identity. And of unique talent.
Ange Capuozzo, rugby player for the Italian National Team and Stade Toulousain, is the face of the new Lanieri campaign. This continues the collaboration with the young Italian-French player, which began last year, and now finds new space for storytelling in the images taken on the rugby field—an environment that celebrates Ange’s sporting talent, where the tailor-made suit becomes a unique and distinctive expression of his personal style. Just like on the field, what makes the difference is attention to detail and the awareness of being able to express oneself at the highest level, at any moment.
For the launch of the campaign on billboards in major cities and on our digital channels, we asked Ange a few questions to better understand his style needs.
How do you express your uniqueness both on and off the field?
It’s difficult to answer this question, it’s always hard to talk about oneself, but I think what makes me different is precisely being different—being able to bring something that others may not have, both on and off the field. That’s actually the beauty of our sport, rugby—we need a great variety of people, both physically and mentally. So, I’ve always tried to be truly myself to the fullest, both on the field and off it.
A tailor-made suit is like a winning strategy, what makes the difference for you?
It’s true that I try, as much as possible, to be myself, to express myself as much as possible on and off the field. This naturally also extends to my clothing style, which I try to match as much as possible with my personality. I am someone who also loves beautiful things, and being able to dress in these tailor-made clothes is something that represents me 100%.
How does it feel to wear a “one-of-a-kind” suit, made just for you?
It’s quite an extraordinary feeling to be able to wear a suit that truly represents me, that is tailor-made for me. It’s also something unusual since I am a high-level athlete and more used to jerseys and shorts than to suits. But still, it is a great pleasure to be able to dress well and, once again, with a lot of quality.
